past.

Since June 13, 2017, we’ve seen a rise of support cases for Autodesk Software failing to launch. Every one of these cases had something in common:

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 installed
Microsoft Updates
KB4019264
KB4019265

The updates above installs .NET Framework 4.7 and may uninstall the earlier versions of .NET Framework. Due to bugs in the rollup, another rollup was pushed to correct the issue, but the issues with your Autodesk applications may still exists.

Solution:

  • *Uninstall .NET Framework 4.7
  • Install .NET Framework 6.2
  • Now the application should launch

* Windows 7 users will get the following error when attempting to uninstall 4.7:

DotNET-Framework-Block-20170623

That’s because it requires another update which updates the D3DCompiler_47.dll file in order for .NET 4.7 to be uninstalled. The link below will take you to the page for downloading and fixing this issue…

In some cases, you may need to uninstall rollup updates as well before installing .NET Framework 4.6.2
