Our House is a Very, Very, Very Fine House!
Posted on March 3, 2014 by Kristen Tomasic, Synergis Engineering Design Solutions Division Vice President:
We are very excited to share that in September 2014, Synergis will be moving into a newly renovated office building at 18 S. Fifth Street in Quakertown, PA. This facility, a 60,000-square-foot predominantly vacant textile mill will become our new headquarters where both divisions of Synergis, Synergis Software and Synergis Engineering Design Solutions, will be reunited under one roof. Due to the growth in both divisions over the past eight years, Synergis Software, developers of Adept Engineering document management solutions, and Synergis Engineering Design Solutions, a Platinum Autodesk solutions provider in the mid-Atlantic region, currently lease space in two separate office buildings. Two other tenants are expected to also occupy the renovated building, but Synergis is the largest tenant with over 30,000-square-feet of office space.
One of our long-time clients, Gorski Engineering, a design-build general contractor headquartered in Collegeville, PA, owns the new facility and has been working with Synergis and Re:Vision Architecture, of Philadelphia, PA, to develop the plans for the new offices. Re:Vision, also a Synergis client, is a green architecture and sustainability consulting practice founded in 2001 to re-vision and restore the balance between natural and built environments. Re: Vision, Gorski Engineering, and Synergis’ Bill Knittle, AEC Solutions Engineer and architect, have been collaborating on the design and the floor plans using Autodesk Revit in Autodesk’s Building Design Suite 2014. Mark Mahovich, our VP of Professional Services, is overseeing the project for Synergis and Greg Tapler, a Synergis Software Developer and part-time professional photographer, is capturing the project’s evolution digitally.
